Match Facts

Head-to-head
Liverpool are chasing a fifth successive win against Norwich.
The Canaries' only previous Premier League win away to Liverpool came on 30 April 1994.

Liverpool
> The Reds lost four of their six games against newly-promoted teams last season (W2, L4). No Premier League side suffered more defeats against last season's new boys (Birmingham and Sunderland also lost four times).
> Kenny Dalglish's side have kept just two clean sheets in 10 league and cup games this term. Those shut-outs came in matches away to Everton and Arsenal, when their opponents were reduced to 10 men.
> They have allowed their opponents only 27 shots on target this season, the joint lowest total in the top flight.

Norwich
> The Canaries have conceded in all eight of their league games this term - the only other Premier League club without a clean sheet is Blackburn.
> Norwich's last top-flight shut-out came in a 1-0 win against Birmingham on 7 May 2005.
> City have scored seven of their 10 league goals in the first half, and have yet to net in the final 25 minutes. Last season they had a reputation for scoring late goals - they struck 12 times in the 90th minute or later, the best record in the Championship.
